Mind Storm |
I feel the storm arriving, The dark clouds overhead. An emptiness within my soul, Fills me now with dread. |
The air is now electric, Every nerve in me, alive, And as the storm progresses, I wonder if I'll survive. |
The storm is only in my mind, This emptiness will pass, And sands of time run slowly, As I watch the hourglass. |
Lightening strikes and thunder roars, And rain falls as my tears, Uncontrolled and free to roam, Unleashed now all my fears. |
The hours pass, the storm it calms, I feel your hand in mine. You draw me in your loving arms, Your kiss is like sweet wine. |
The storm now has a different tune, It plays a passioned song. The emptiness, it falls away As we love the whole night long. |
Morning breaks, my smile awakes, The mind storm is no more. I lie alone with the thoughts of you The one that I adore. |
Until my love, we meet again, In another dream, maybe. You are the Captain of my heart, For you calm my stormy sea. |
