Mike I was quite impressed with your knowledge about making primitive bows when I stopped by your camp last Saturday. I think I would really like to make my own long bow. I have been bow hunting for 26 years, but the last 25 have been with compound bows.
have lost alot of my desire the last few years and I believe alot of that is due to it just being to easy. I think that going out and hunting with something that I actually made would be great. What would be my next move? thanks.

I have made several osage bows that I deer hunt with. this past season I took a nice 8 point and several does with the first one and another smaller 8 point and more does with the newer on. I have been a traditional archer for over ten years. I just retur
ed from Tenn, wood hunting and found a great osage tree that will provide bows for years to come. Any primitive archers in SC please contact me if you want to deer hunt. I have 3000 acres leased for bowhunting only and would welcome a primitive archer as
a guest.

I'm traditional-primitive archery inclined, and I make my own quivers and glass knapped broadheads. I have killed many deer in Michigan . I am trying brain tanning using Jim Miller's methods. I think your sight is quite informative and I like the links yo
have about bow building because I am going to build my own self bow and kill a deer with it this comming season. keep up the good work .Larry
