My heart telling me, I am angry with Him
Laughs at lame excuse, no infirmity within
O leader of the righteous, Be fair! I implore
Thou the Chairperson, I pleading at thy door
There is not any chair, nor door in consciousness
In LOVE �you� and �me� are of no significance.
O Supreme One! Thou art not twain
Oh the Spirit beholding man and woman
Male and female when united are one
All annihilate in but in thee and none
Thou in purpose have split them in twain
Playing with their servitude Thou entertain
�You� and �Me� when unite in One
Become �The Beloved� other than none
When you will relieve thyself of duality
Annihilation is final course of morality

This is �To Be� Thy final decree, I behold
O Ruler, above the faculty of speech or word
This �eye� can envision you never
My sorrow, my grief, are but clever

The heart bound to laugh or sorrow
I question: may ever behold thy morrow?
Caught in happiness or grief one may be
Living the passing moments, not life may he?

The green garden of eternal LOVE for sure
Hath fruits more than pain and pleasure
Divine Love is above both these states
Both spring and autumn it ever enjoys

Oh Beloved! Pay alms for thy beautiful face
My shattered soul thus explained by Thy Grace.
Thy coquettish bashful slandering art
Hath inflicted fresh wound on my heart
My murder, I�ve but granted Thee
I provoked; He denied persistently
(7) According to tradition it is said that Allah appreciates two drops very much, one is the tear shed in steadfastness to truth (taqwa), and the other is blood spent in Allah�s Cause, fighting for Truth (Jihad)

(8) There are no male and female attributes. All attributes are from Allah. Duality means seeking of attributes in oneself other than approved by Allah. Freeing oneself from these earthly attributes and adorning oneself with Divine virtues is the final demand of purity and Divinity.

(9) �Eye� means physical eye. One cannot see God, but feels His presence in joy and grief inflicted on oneself. Rumi further clarifies that worldly pleasure or sorrow does not matter, but it�s the �wajd� spiritual ecstasy that brings one close to Him.

(10) Life is just not fleeting moments of happiness and grief. Restricting oneself to worldly passing emotions is fixing oneself to it, and one is never able to realize the truth of life, which is not in duality, but in Oneness of life that is perpetual, that of eternity.

(11) �Ishq� the Divine Love is the spiritual energy, which facilitates one on the path and helps one to conquer worldly emotions that relate to individual sustenance rather than mutual survival, thus is opposed to selfishness.
