| I've heard it said that the first time a person experiences anger, a seed is planted in their hearts. This seed is a seed of darkness. It sits deep within you waiting. It waits for your anger to emerge. For every time you feel anger, every time you hate it, feeds a little more. This seed will continue to grow, unitl one day it is no longer a seed, but a plant. A plant that begins to feed off your very soul. The bigger it gets, the more anger you feel. The bigger it gets, the more natural your rage becomes. It will grow until it can grow no more, and then your soul will become forfeit. It will devour you. Remember this every time you feel the flush of anger creeping up on you. Remember this the next time a cruel word crosses your lips. Remember and teach others of the dangers of their rage. I tell you this, not because I am better, but because I have fallen it this trap. My rage has consumed me, it is too much a part of me. My soul is damned and there is nothing that can be done. But if it saves you, relinquish your anger unto me. Give me your rage, so that you need not feel it's heavy burden. I would willing take this upon myself. And maybe, just maybe, this sacrifice may lessen my torment. But I do not believe so. Foget your anger, and may you be spared my fate. |
