And so the Nation of Dragonscale was driven from the Desert lands, taking refuge in Destynalias home town of Hope. The days in this new land offered peace the likes of which the people have never seen, though this was soon to be shattered like so many things in this chaotic world were.

The Knights of Eglan Berriador were rising in power. Setting their sights on the city of Hope, they attacked with no mercy, bringing violence and bloodshed. Claiming the lands as ancestral, they forced their will and Shield upon the city.  Desperate to rid themselves of this oppressive claim on their sovereignty the Nation turned to an old foe, and joined Dragonscale under the nation of Requiem.

The weight and pressures of the Kingdom and its recent troubles weighed heavy on Lord Steven and Destynalias shoulders, causing discord in the relationship. Times were troublesome for the couple, and after much relationship turmoil, Destynalia left the city of Hope to find sanctuary with the Order of the Fallen Leaf. There, she fell into the arms and heart of Kitithron, leader of the Leaf, dropping her name of Dragonscale and accepting Kitithrons proposal of marriage.

During this time, Lord Marshall Dragonscale ended the alliance with Requiem, swearing never to sub to another nation again, and thus the Dragonscale shield once again returned to the maps of Aerynth.

Soon after, another threat was laid at the feet of Dragonscale....
The Forging.

The times following the Forging were spent re fortifying the guild, recruiting and bringing in new members to replace the so many lost in the Desert Wars. The Dragonscale Nation grew, seeing its best days in ages, yet Steven was unhappy and could only think of his lost love, and through these times continued to try to win back the heart of Destynalia. The days and weeks passed, and just when hope was all but lost Destynalia returned.

Glorious days followed for the nation. A banquet was thrown in honor of Destynalia and here return, a proposal of marriage was accepted and a date set. As well, following a brief Civil War, Stevens home town of
Blackstone was turned over to his control, a city that Steven was raised in and as he once loked at in awe was now his. As well the new city of Tolerance joined the Dragonscale Nation.

The day of the wedding came allies, friends, royalty, Lords and Ladies from many nations dressed in their finest were gathered for the celebrated occasion.  All were congregated in the church to witness the vows, when an unspeakably repulsive smell began to fill the air The smell of decay, entropy, and rotting flesh.  Shouts filled the air and panic hit as the Undead Lords struck. Bloodshed and carnage filled the walls of the Keep, an epic battle ensued, and finally the Undead stood victorious.

When the city cleared, the wedding proceeded.  Unknown to all, Destynalia was mortally wounded during the attack and as the wedding finally took place, she completed her vows as her life was slowly slipping from her body. Finally, the following morning, after saying her final words to Steven,
she passed from this world; her body emerged from the tunnel to the Tree of Life a final time... lifeless. Destynalia Tomb was constructed in the walls of the keep, where her body was laid to rest.

Steven sat beside the tomb, his arm reached out, his palm resting on the cold stone. Thus a new war was thrust upon the Nation of Dragonscale..
