The Sun is about to set and darkness of the night soon approaches. Before the Sun finalizes its descent, and just for a brief moment of time, the Sun flashes a beautiful ray of green light - known as a green flash or the 'the Green Ray.' This natural occurance signifies, in this Coven's tenet, a beginning within an ending - an opening to the inner realms of the self.
"The Sun God is signaling us!" A guide once told me.
"To do what?" I asked.
"He is asking us to go within -- with him." He replied.
We see the Sun God in all his glory throughout the day and at that moment of descent he is telling us that with in death there is growth, life, and renewal. This moment of time can be a doorway into the inner realms.
With in this Coven when a novice approaches 1st Degree Initiation she/he embarks on a journey that takes them with in the inner self. The novice becomes one with the 'green ray' (through meditation, trance, or astral projection). Sitting, standing, or kneeling in silence awaiting the 'essence of a Divine Connection.'
The 'key' is to find your inner core which consists of your inner 'witch'; your inner child; your 'divine connection.' At this time your 'higher self' reveals itself to you, and you are shown a face of the Great One.
The Green Ray is the 'essence' of growth, hope, and renewal -- a doorway into the mystical. Let this doorway be your enchantment for your inner self. Find your core. You have to be one with yourself before you can realize the 'oneness' you have had from the very beginning of time! Blessed be! |
