Our church consists of a chapel, a basement and a sanctuary with a connected office and back entrance(s).
Throughout the year there are regular church services every sunday and bible study Tuesday mornings. On special occasions such as Christmas and Easter, there are other church services. The Church is also host to a number of different groups including guides, pathfinders, youth group and many more. We hold weddings and funerals as well as numerous church events, such as the fall and strawberry teas, the plant sale, rummage sale and the apple/harvest sale, and more. CCD has sunday school going through the year. On occasion there are classes through the summer, in this case there are no classes this summer, instead activity packages for children through the ages of 0 and 12, to keep them busy during the church service. After the church service the congregation goes down from the
sanctuary (which is really stuffy in the summer despite its size) to the cool basement for some coffee and social time. There is a south hall and a kitchen and two classrooms; the round table room and the north hall (of which can be divided into smaller rooms). Of course all of these rooms are connected by the ever popular hallway. The church building has two bathrooms one for the gentlemen and one for the ladies. There are also multiple storage and janitorial rooms. Our sanctuary has a choir loft and enough pews to hold more than our usual attendance. There is a pulpit and a lecturn both with lights and microphones. Our choir and piano/organ pit also have mics set up for your hearing pleasure. The entire sanctuary is carpeted with at least three different shades of carpet. There are also stained glass windows along the north and south facing walls. There is a nice stained glass window in the West facing sheet of glass in the resemblance of the United Church crest. The outside of the church building is painted a dead faded green-ish colour with five entrances into the building. The building has a security system so when the alarm is set don't try to get in unless you know the entrance code. Our current custodian is Bill Froese and our present minister is Stuart Jackson.
