How the game works (rules and such)
(story)-
There is a cat outside in the streets. It has been raining and hailing out for almost an hour but no other cat has let it share a shelter from the rain. The wet cat has gone from box to box scratching hoping some one will be kind enough to let him stay until the rain stops. Finally one does and chaos abounds; there are too many cats in the box one has to get out.

(rules)- Set up enough chairs for every one participating in a circle. Now take one out of the circle and whoever was supposed to be sitting in that chair gets to be stuck in the middle. The person in the middle is trying to get a seat, so s/he goes around the circle asking whoever "kitty want a korner?" The person s/he asks has to answer yes or no. If they say no the kitty (person in the middle) has to go to some one else, if they say yes, every one has to get up from their chair and find another one. While the kitty is going around asking for a seat the rest of the group can either sit there patiently or make the game more interesting. Anyone sitting in the circle can make eye contact with another person and when they feel the time is right, switch seats. This is amusing and frustrates the kitty in the middle which makes it all the more entertaining for those in teh circle. Of course the kitty is by all means allowed to try and take a seat once it is open, the only actual rule in this game is that once you leave your seat you can't come back to it until you have sat in another chair. Basically the game keeps going along with one person always left out of a chair unti you get bored or if you happen to be playing on linoleum and some one gets hurt.

How the Game works (rules and such)
Story - there is no story for this game its just fun.

Rules - this is a simple yet fun game any one can play. It develops social skills and negotiating techniques. Form the youth into groups and give each group a paper clip or clothes pin, pens and things will work as well. Give them enough time to go out and have a good chance at the game but have them return in time to go through what they have before they have to go home. The objective of the game is to go from house to house in your neighbourhood asking if they have anything they would like to give you in exchange that is bigger or better than the item you have already, starting with a paper clip. if you are lucky enough you can get something as big as an old stereo that requires at least 4 people to carry it.
