Camp Scenery Index page

Since I scanned each of these pictures to be big and pretty, they take up lots of space.
For this reason, each has its own page and may take a minute to load. Please be patient.

These are all pictures of the view from Pine Ridge, quite likely the most increadible unit. From the Ridge (an actual ridge about 20 feet above the river) you can overlook the confluence of the two rivers that give camp 5 miles of waterfront. It also gives a great view of sunsets over the river.

Here's a couple of Cove pictures:
The first is a picture of the Cove from IN the Cove! On the left is the dock and the Cove House, in the center is the rack of sailboats, and on the right is the canoe rack (not increadibly visible because... well, we're in them on the water).
The second is one of Orbit preparing a sunfish for a quick sail on the river. Camp sailboat pictures never fail to amaze me.

This is the Hollow of Sleepy Hollow (the unit where younger girls generally stay). It makes a great place for games, nature programs, and *drumroll* INSTA-PROGRAM!
Although the picture just can't capture the beauty of the sunlight filtering through the walnut trees into the grassy Hollow, it's something! (How many months till June??)
And here's a little corner of our lovely Lake Moby, named for our beloved ranger of 21 years. Moby and his wife Ann were awarded a plaque at the last campfire the summer of '99 for taking care of our lovely camp for 20 years! A picture from the dedication ceremony is in the All Camp section of the 2000 pages.
