The oracle of Delphi drew visitors from many countries in order to discover their fate. The site is situated in a tremendous valley to the north west of Athens. I took this picture in March, and you can see how cold it is by the snow on Mount Parnassós. The columns that you can spot are in the Sacred Precinct, and were a temple of Apollo. The path that you follow winds up the hill, and past the theatre and into the stadium. The remains at Delphi are extensive, including another temple and Gymnasium.
