This is one of the most famous and spectacular sights in
Argentina. It is called the Perito Moreno glacier. Located in Patagonia, it is well worth seeing, despite the flocking hordes of tourists that it attracts. It is the only advancing glacier in the world, and no picture can truly do it justice.

This alpine refuge is in the village of Cumbrecita, close to Córdoba. The whole village is in the same style, as it was built by descendants of German sailors who were offered a home during the Second World War, after the Graff Spree was grounded in the river Plate. The village is situated in rolling hills, with abundant forests and great places to walk. There are bars, restaurants and hotels built in the same Germanic style.

This is a distant shot of one of the most exclusive hotels in the world. It is called the Llao Llao, which is a local Indian word meaning sweet, sweet, after a berry  that grows in the area. Llao Llao is close to the resort of Bariloche, at the northern most tip of Patagonia. Bariloche is famous for its skiing and chocolate.
