Integration of Educational Technology

Goal:
ED680 explores classroom applications of educational technology and examines the integration of educational technology in classroom settings. The goal of the course is to help achieve a greater understanding of issues and techniques related to the integration of educational technology in PreK-12 educational settings.  The curriculum for the course is based on the International Society of Technology in Education�s (ISTE) recommended foundations in technology for all teachers.

Syllabus -
This week is to orient you with online instruction.  We will try to work out any problems with emailing documents or attachments. Have no fear, we will work together and learn together.
Assignments:
1.  Email me a short description of who you are, what grade level you are teaching, and where you are in the program.  Please let me know if you are using a PC or MAC and what word processing program you are using.

2.  Click on the Discussion Group Link.  After I have received your introduction then I will email you the complete syllabus and passwords to add to the discussion board.  I do have the syllabus online but it is not complete.  It is only the short version.

3.  Order the textbook if you have not already.  You can call the bookstore for details. 

4.  Read Preface, Introduction, and Section 1.

5.  Review Class Notes.  It is a mini lecture. 

I will post the new class module each Sunday.  You have one week to turn in the assignment.  Each week's assignment is due by the next Sunday before midnight (which would be Monday morning).  Any late assignments will be accepted but points will be taken off.  Please get all assignments in on time to avoid this.  Thanks.
