Once graduated from the round pen, we move on to the trail and
working environments, applying the skills the horse has learned to the real world.
dp training is located on fifty acres in the Black Hills within a 600 acre wilderness,
surrounded by a cattle ranch of several thousand acres.  Directly across from this are many many acres of BLM public land.  We have open vistas, rolling meadows, rimrock, streams, and forest.

This makes for an unsurpassed training ground
where the horse maneuvers real life obstacles and terrain using all gaits in a variety of conditions.
We leave the round pen and arena
behind and boldly go where few other trainers do!
