About The Website!

The purpose of this website was to build one for my “uncle” and his business. I reviewed elements of code from previous modules and took what I liked from those and incorporated it into my own. I think some of the main takeaways would be, how to use hashtags to “connect” CSS to HTML and how to link to other pages throughout the website. With some basic knowledge of understanding elements.

I went with the colors because I wanted to stick with the Irish theme and I wanted to keep that consistent throughout the page. The layout is easy to use, and you can clearly find the section you are looking for right away.

Areas for improvement would be simply spending much more time on it. Working with a team is always nice and getting feedback as well to bounce ideas off eachother. Sure, I would like to have some flash animation of someone taking a slapshot and having the puck “break the screen” then having an “Enter” button but I’m not there yet. I hope to continue to have more opportunities to learn design and how to put your ideas into code and make it happen. Maybe that will be down the road but for now, it’s the basics. Thank you!
