Wild Rumour:  Australia's first B&M? - 15/01/200
2:  Could Warner Brothers Movieworld may be the first park in Australia to receive a B&M coaster?  One rumour suggests so.  While nothing has been confirmed, they are believed to have conducted talks with the company.  While no dates have been given, if the rumours are genuine, I'd be thinking Xmas of 2003 or 2004 as a possible opening time.  Its also worth noting that Movieworld in Spain has just added a floorless coaster called 'Superman:  Ride of Steel, and the Movieworld in Australia is yet to have a ride themed to Superman.

More updates as/if they come to hand.

WET 'n' WILD WATER WORLD:

1/7/2002:  New for 2003! Wet 'n' Wild will construct a new 'whirlpool' attraction to be open by Xmas this year.

31/01/2003:  Now open - Whirlpool springs!
While we were promised hot tubs for winter, it seems that due to problems with the original attraction, the spas have opened early, with the full whirlpool to be 'spinning' next year.

31/01/2003:  The future:
Wet 'n' Wild has come along way in the past few years, with attendance up nearly 50% in 4 years.  Seems the future involves allot of catching up for the attendance explosion, which has already seen the upgrade of park amenities, (including adding more gates to the front entrance).

An additional plus for the park is that it has (apparently) been given the green light to expand over the river at the back of the park.  Wether this is for new rides, new places to sit or what ever is still unknown.  All that is known is that Wet 'n' Wild Water World is still getting bigger
