If you didn't bother to read the section on CPM at GoToWorld.com, or you didn't understand it for that matter, it's probably because the GoToWorld.com web site doesn't advertise it.

CPM is the unit most advertisers set a price to when they pay web sites for their web space. A standard price range for advertisements is $10 - $20 dollars, depending on demand. "CPM" stands for "thousands of impressions." One "impression" is the ad loading on one person's computer so that that one person can view it one time.

GoToWorld.com claims they receive $12 per thousand impressions (CPM), yet our pay is based on a $3 CPM. If "our" CPM is raised, then we get paid more. See how to do this in the next section.
