Clan Rules

The rules, wich are made by JOC in order of the admins is
devided in the following chapters:
1. General Terms
2. Membership
3. Forum & Wars
4. Brief summary
Due to the large content of the regulations we advise you
to directly go to the chapter concerning the rules you are
intrested in.
1. General Terms
A/ The Admins are the people in charge of the clan and are
being guided and suported by the members of the Staff.
B/ All responsability lies with the Admins
C/ No member, with exception of the members of the Admins
and Staff can represent the clan in forums, ... without permission
of the Staff or Admins. Agreements made without approval of
the Admins or Staff will be declared useless.
D/ The Admins have the power to kick or bann members out
of the clan. Before kicking a member the pletoonleaders will
be informed as will the member be by e-mail. In this e-mail
there will be explained why you are banned or kicked. BEWARE!
Once you are kicked out of the clan you can never join up
with us again!
E/ Attempts for DOW to kick a member:
E/ - racisme
E/ - treating other clanmembers
E/ - bringing dow in discrase
by cheating during games / wars
F/ Cheating is not allowed without DOW on any way. Cheating
only has one punishment: inmediate banning and being kicked
out of the clan permanently
G/ Every member of DOW can only be at one clan. There will
be made no exceptions for this rule! If you got caught playing
in multiple clans you will be kicked.
H/ All members of DOW have to use the clantag [DOW] while
gaming. Provocating nicknames won't be permitted
I/ Promotion
Promotion is possible due the amount of months the member
is in the clan, and if he/she doesn't has any official complaints
recieved. You can always ask for promotion if you think you
are worthy. Every e-mail will descussed and compared with
your statts. If you should be denied don't keep asking. If
you should wish more information about promotion request you
can always ask one of the people of the Staff or Admins before
sending your official request.
J/ Rewards can be achieved during clanwars, executing tasks
in the importance of the clan and / or the amount of months
someone is a full member. This will be discused after each
official Game by the pletoonleaders or the admins
K/ The Admins can, for any reason, take decisions not according
to this regulation.
2. Membership
A/ For being able to become a member in our clan you will
need to:
A/ - At least speak English (Dutch
prefered)
A/ - Minimal Age: 16 years ols
A/ - Prefered to be in the possesion
of a headset (for Teamspeak) during wars and training
A/ - Cable or DSL prefered
B/ Before a new member is getting permited to the clan he
will need to take a try-out period of at least one week and
max 2 months. In this period he/she will recieve points for:
behavior, decensie, motivation, teamplay and keeping your
agreements.
C/ Try-outs and members need to be actief! This means e clear
precense on the foru and during training and wars. When you
won't be actief during a long period (vaction or other reason)
please inform your pletoonleader on post this on the forum.
3. Forum & Wars
A/ Treat other members and oponents with respect. On the
forum as on wars, don't insult against another clanmember
or opponent, spoken or written will be tolerated. Have a positive
attitude. You are a member of DOW!
B/ Every member needs to visit the forum multiple times a
week. This concerning the publication of updates, clanwars,
trainings, ... . Don't be shy on the forum! Try to participate
activly to the topics.
C/ Discusions or conflicts won't be aranged on the forum
or during wars. Use MSN or IRC for this. If you can't agree
ask a member of the Admins or Staff for aid, he will listen
to the problem and help everyone out.
D/ The moderators on the forum have the wright to replace
or delete topics for any reason they choose.
E/ About subsribing for clanwars: the people who first sign
up will first be selected.
F/ Everyone who has a change of words with his pletoonleader
can take contact with one of the Admins who will investigate
the problem.
G/ It isn't permited to post anything off illegal software.
All posts concerning illegal software, ftp's, cracks, downloads
will be deleted.
4. Brief summary
- Minimal age: 16
- Cable or DSL prefered
- No fucking around, listen to your leaders
- Be friendly with other members
- Wanna leave? Please inform your pletoonleader at least 3
days before the departure
- No cheats!
- No noobs, you will need some experience
- Don't ovedo the showing off to fellow clanmembers, if you
think that you are better, keep it for yourself because it
might make some people angry
- If you join DOW clan you may not enter any other BF2142
clan
- Try to be tehre for trainings and wars
- Don't give the clan a bad name!
- Try to play as much as possible together
- Always answer as fast as possible on mails
5. EXTRA
Updated 16-01-2007 concerning Clan Ranks:
If you join a game and you have
created a squad, you have to listen to your superior in clan
ranking. For example if a soldier creates a squad and a luitenant
comes in and asks to take controle of the squad the soldier
has to make room and follow the orders of the superior officer.

Adjustmenst to these rules will be anounced on the forum
and all members will recieve a mail at least 3 days of the
official adjustment of the rule.
