| Arafats� not separating! Mrs. A. just confused. Tel Aviv � Rumours have been circulating that Mrs. Soha Arafat is considering an end to her marriage to Yasser Arafat. Soha, 36, has been married to the 70 year-old leader of the PLO since 1989. She has been absent from their Gaza home for the last four months. A source close to the family said, �Soha is fed up with everything. Her husband can�t provide the basic needs of a young woman.� �I�m seventy years old,� Yasser wheezed when questioned about his wife�s absence. It seems that �the source close to the family� was confused anyway. Speaking for herself, Mrs. Arafat said it was all an honest mistake. �Back in April, I went out for the evening with friends, had a few-too-many Harvey Wallbangers and went home with my �husband�. I really liked the new house that he had apparently purchased, I�m not allowed to question him on these matters,� she added. During the four-month hiatus from Gaza, she noticed some peculiar events. �The number of phone calls from concert promoters was very strange. I wondered how Yasser had gotten into this realm in the middle of peace negotiations. Then Paul McCartney called and I knew something was wrong.� At that moment, Soha searched her �husband�s� wallet for his ID. �Jesus,� she exclaimed, �I had been living with Ringo Starr by mistake!� �I wasn�t going to complain,� the former Beatle said. �She was digging me, I certainly was digging her, although, when she called me Mr. Arafat while making love, I had to swallow my pride and enjoy the ride.
