Andrea Lee Adams

Andrea was born October 5, 1969, in Yucca Valley California, (The Mojave Desert). She is currently living in Ashland Oregon and works for one of the most unique department stores in town, Paddington Station. She and Jeff moved there in the summer of 2001 from Portland to start school again at Southern Oregon University. Jeff started right away, and is a full time student. Andrea started her classes on January 7th. 2002. They love Ashland and the people they have met there. It's quite a change from the rush and bustle of Portland, their hometown for nearly ten years.

She is the mother of Cassidy and Julia Adams.

Andrea has had an interesting life so far. She has competed in a number of teen pageants in California while attending High School, and was crowned "Miss 29 Palms" in 1986.

In 1987 she was an AFS foreign exchange student and spent a year in Indonesia, going to school and living with the family of the president of the Indonesian Exchange Bank. As member of this influential family, she was invited to attend many diplomatic functions and met heads of state from all over the world. She still is in contact with some of the many friends she made while living there.

After returning from Indonesia, she worked for the USDA as an agricultural inspector, and this led her to Oregon where she now lives.

She met her husband, Jeff Adams, while attending college in Portland. They were married on June 21 1993 in the Rose Gardens overlooking Portland. Jeff is a musician and playwright who also enjoys gourmet cooking.
