| Member's Earned Credit Program | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| By participating materially in club functions and projects for the benefit and well-being of the DOUBLE M SADDLE CLUB, members in good standing may accrue earned credits by: |

| 1) Working at MM horse shows: a) pre-show set up (haul bedding, prepare stalls, arena set-up/repair, welcome exhibitors, etc) Credits -- 1 per show, or 2 if workload is particularly heavy. b) show days (working in entry office, in annoucer's stand, on reing crew, etc) Credits per show day: All Day -- 2; Most of Day -- 1; Partial Day -- 1/2; Incidental -- 1/4. c) Post Show Clean Up (when no othe benefit or conensation is offered) Credits possible per show -- Grounds plus barn -- 2; Grounds only or Barn only -- 1; Incidental -- 1/2; None if other benefit or compensation is offered. 2) Attendence at club meetings: Credits -- 1/4 per meeting. 3) Riding in parades: with club unit on horseback or on float [or decorating float] Credits -- 1/2 per parade for riding on horseback or on float 4) Collecting Ad Sponsorships: Ads for sponsors are placed on the back of our show bills These may be either season sponsorships or single event sponsorships. Credits -- Season: 2; Single event: 1. 5) Special Services: made possible by member's special skills, professional abilities, or personal situation. These might include [but would not be limited to]: a) repair or upgrade club equipment b) prepair club promotional materials [designing, mailing, posting show bills, making stall/booth/banquet/parade decorations, etc] c) special projects as the club may undertake from time to time [horse expo, etc]. Credits to be determined by committee, taking into consideration time and skill required, whether member could complete project at his/her own convenience, and if member was reimbursed for parts, supplies, etc. 6) Donation to the club of items more than incidental in nature -- either by making club fuctions easier or sparing the club the expense of purchasing the item new. Credits to be determined by committee depending on the value of the item and its usefulness. |

| Credits earned may be used for special functions beyond general membership benefits. Credits may be shared within a family membership; however, if one member wishes to transfer any of their credits to another member outside their family, the receiving member must have earned credits number at least equal to the number of credits received. No credits may be transferred to non-members. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1) Ride at Minnesota Horse Expo -- Credits required: 10; may be pro-rated. 2) Club Membership Renewals -- Credits required: 4 for individual; 5 for family. 3) Entry Fees at Double M Shows -- Credits required: 1/2 credit per class. 4) Year-End Banquet Meal or other meals where club pays half for members Credits required: 4 per meal unless otherwise specified. 5) Advertising on Show Bills -- Credits required: 5 for season ad; 2 for single event ad. 6) Scholarship -- To attend major horse-related, non-club events that are educational or competitive in nature.
