Vision & Mission
Dos Mares has used the research vessel MEDEPESCA III, thank to the support of AdPesca, the Nicaraguas government agency for fisheries development.

The R/V Medepesca III, is 45' in length , cruises at 10 knots, carries 500 gallons of diesel fuel and has a 3 people crew. She is Yamaha built and powered . She has a hydraulic powered winch and crane for exploratorie fisheries research. She is also equipped with a dive ladder. Furuno electronic include radar, GPS, fishfinder, VHF and single band radios. We anticipate adding more equipment in the future.
We need financial support to acomplish these projects ...an effort is underway to solicit funds from several foundations and government sources. Private contributions are also very welcome. Your opinion and questions are also very important for us at this moment. Please do not hesitate to write us for any additional information: Contact us
