| "Day" as he was affectionately known was a real 'miracle' right from the start. With numerous baby in group and show wins he went to Sydney to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Association of NSW Championship Show in October 1981 where he was awarded Reserve Challenge and Runner up Best In Show by the late Mrs Doreen Dodds of England. |
| Some of "Days" more notable wins were: R/up BIS and Minor Puppy in Show, CWCA Championship Show 1981 (Judge Mrs D Dodd U.K.) 1st Intermediate Dog Class, Sydney Royal Easter Show 1983 Res CC Sydney Royal Easter Show, CC and BOB Winter Classic, R/up BIG All Breeds, CC and BOB RASKC Spring Fair, Aust Bred in Show CWCA Championship Show 1984 BIG and R/up BIS twice at All Breeds Championship Shows 1985 BOB Sydney Royal Easter Show 1986 R/up BIS CWCA Championship Show 1987 BOB Canberra Bicentennial Show 1988 Day was also awarded the CWCA "100 Miles Outside Sydney Trophy" 1982/83 and 1984/85 NSW Country Cardigan of the Year 1982/83 and 1984/85 CARDIGAN OF THE YEAR 1984/85 Dubbo and District KC Working Dog of the Year 1984/85 |
