Introduction
In order to receive credit for these courses, the following activities must be completed:
Integrated workshops:
1. For the Integrated workshops, there will be a group meeting in which a course overview will be detailed for the participants. An instruction booklet and instructions for using the website will be provided.2. Participants will follow the course outline and the Standard Course of Study in their presentations within their classrooms. Teachers will prepare a lesson plan and select all the areas that will be covered within this unit.
3. All required activities and experiments must be carried out in the classroom . Points may be assigned on a scale of 100 with each activity counting 20 points each. If special help is needed, you may request assistance from the Central Office.
3. Feedback from the experiments which will be posted on our listserv for all to compare.
4. When the experiments are complete and all data has been posted, the group will meet once more to evaluate the process and the course.
5. Credit for 1.5 of Hand-on Technology credit will be awarded for completion of the course.
On-line E-mail and Hyperstudio
1. On-line e-mail and Hyperstudio do not require a meeting. All activities done and submitted by e-mail.
2. A booklet will be provided that explains each activity.
3. The course is considered to be finished when all activities are complete and in the case of Hyperstudio, when the project has been submitted. The Hyperstudio project may be submitted by e-mail or it may be turned in on a disk.
4. A completion date will given for each course to be completed. All projects and assignments MUST be completed by the pre-arranged date to receive credit.
