Indian Head Massage
Side effects and when a treatment should be avoided:
Some clients may experience tiredness, dizziness, an increased desire to urinate (as the body eliminates toxins and waste materials) or aching muscles after a treatment. All of these side effects usually last for no more than a few hours, after which clients generally experience increased energy and alertness.

Indian head massage should be avoided if you have had
recent surgery or head or neck injury and if you have a history of thrombosis, embolism, spondylitis or spondylosis.

If you have high or low blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, any kind of heart condition, cancer or osteoporosis you need to
consult with your doctor before arranging a treatment.

Avoid alcohol for at least five hours before treatment.

Indian Head Massage (Indian Champissage TM) is based on the traditional form of Champi (head massage) and the ayurvedic system of healing which have been practised in India for over a 1000 years.

The aim of Indian Head massage is to release stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, neck, face and shoulders. The massage is safe, very effective and helps to balance the energies in the body. There is not need to undress or use oils.
The client sits fully clothed in a chair for the treatment. Ther therapist uses a range of different movements over the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face areas (stimulation of pressure points) including ears. A session lasts between 25 to 45 minutes with time to sit quietly for some minutes once the massage has been completed.
