The three of them are standing awkwardly in front of the building. Yano asks Sachi about the uniform she's wearing, and Shoko quickly lies that it's required for their program and that it's a new theme they're developing where the radio personality visits different work places to reflect today's young working women to their viewers - and today they've chosen the restaurant. Sachi pipes in that yes, she's found it to be quite gruelling work actually, having to serve food and shows Yano the food splattered on the front of her uniform. He's still bemused but accepts their answer.

Kawamura comes out and greets Shoko and Sachi, thanking Sachi for doing the photos and saying if only Shoko was cuter!... but Shoko manages to clue him in about Yano being from the Weather Bureau and he goes along with them to cover up Sachi's identity.

After Yano leaves, the two of them are totally exhausted from all the tension, and Sachi says that even though Yano's nice, it's better for them not to meet again.

That night, Sachi's watching the weather program at The Glass Slipper. Meanwhile, Yano, who's home, checks the newspaper for the "Niji no Cinderella" show for the radio frequency... and the next day at work, he tunes into the show.

Shoko is advising someone on the program, saying that if you're lonely, you must take action to change your situation, and try to do something out of the ordinary that you normally wouldn't do..." As his co-workers come back from lunch, he quickly turns the radio off and goes up to the roof-top, thinking of what Shoko had just said about "doing someting out of the ordinary"...

Just as Sachi is bringing coffee to Shoko and everyone in the broadcasting room, the phone rings and it's a call for "Yuikawa Sachi" from the weather bureau... Shoko takes the call but it's not Yano but his co-worker, Taguchi. He asks her out for a date, and she agrees. Afterwards, Sachi asks if she has to go in Shoko's place, but Shoko says she'll just go as Sachi's AD and tell Taguchi not to bother Sachi anymore. Sachi doesn't mind not going as Yano is not going to be there.

But Ikuko strikes again!... and Taguchi has to work on that day!!

Yano's eating with his daughter Yukimi and gets the call from Taguchi asking him to go in his place again... He refuses and hangs up. Yukimi hears him mention the name "Yuikawa Sachi" on the phone, and asks him if she's his girlfriend, but Yano says it's Taguchi who's interested. But when Yukimi asks what Sachi is like, he tells her that she's very pretty. He then brings up what he'd heard on the radio about doing something out of the ordinary, asking his daughter what sort of things she would not normally do. His daughter advises him to carefully consider his actions before proceeding... quite a grown-up comment for an eight year-old! He says that Yukimi is like her mom... which leads her to ask "what dad is like"... He thinks for a moment and tells her that he's someone who speaks out what's in his mind.

Shoko's waiting for Taguchi in the restaurant and both are surprised to see each other (instead of the expected Taguchi and Sachi...)

Meanwhile, Sachi's in a bookstore, and she buys a book on the weather, reading bits of it to her son in the park. But when her son tells her that he doesn't understand what she's explaining about rainfall, she confesses that she too isn't entirely sure what it means.

At the restaurant, Yano explains to Shoko about the stresses of his job, saying that they have to proceed carefully with serious warnings like rainstorms and flooding because it involves the marshalling of many people in back-up services. Shoko's impressed, but then he says modestly that most of the time, they just go up to the rooftop to watch the skies... to mark changes in the weather. He then tells her that many things can be deduced from looking at the sky and comments on how the sky is ever-changing and you never get the exact same view twice. As they leave, Yano asks her to convey his regards to Sachi, saying that he probably won't have the chance to see her again.

At home, Yukimi sees Yuikawa Sachi's name in the newspaper and asks her mom about her, saying that she thinks it's Daddy's girlfriend even though he denies it. Junko looks thoughtful at the news...

Next day, Sachi asks Shoko about the date and Shoko tells her how Yano had come instead and that she'd cleared up everything and asked him to tell Taguchi not to bug her anymore. She also tells Sachi how Yano had passed his regards to her... and Sachi is interested to know what he'd said, saying that she found his weather talk fascinating and wished she was there to hear him.

Meanwhile, Yano has passed on Shoko's refusal to Taguchi (which makes Ikuko - who's listening in on their conversation happy) but then Taguchi refuses to give up, saying he's going to persevere.

When Sachi picks up her son at the daycare center, she sees a poster advertising the weather gallery inside the Weather Bureau.

The next day, Sachi gets off work early and as she does not have to go to the Glass Slipper that night, she decides to visit the weather gallery. As she approaches the building, she sees Yano leaving it and she goes in after he's gone. She joins a group whose touring the facilities inside the gallery. Meanwhile, upstairs in the weather bureau, Ikuko tells Taguchi that Yano's only off to a quick meeting and will be back soon...

As Yano returns, he sees Sachi inside the weather gallery but decides not to approach her. However, as he's going up in the elevator, he thinks about "doing something out of the ordinary" and makes a quick decision to go for it. He runs back down but at first, it seems like Sachi's not there anymore, but just as his disappointment sets in, he sees her still there.
