This is a painted wood thimble. The Christmas wreath was an earring that belonged to my husband's grandmother. With the other earring I am making a thimble for my daughter and giving to her for Christmas.

Another of Wayne's creations. This is actually a beautiful purple color. Leslie tells me the wood is dyed (before Wayne buys it) and that there aren't really any purple trees out there... lol. I'll try to scan the thimble again when I have more time so you can see the true color of it.
