...ANOTHER THIMBLE COLLECTOR WAS "BORN."

One of my favorite pastimes is shopping for thimbles on eBay, much to my darling husband's dismay.

This thimble display was sent to me by my friend, Cissy. I was chatting with her one evening and told her about one I had seen on the internet, but they were so expensive and I couldn't buy one. She took a look at the picture and the next thing I knew I received not just one but two of them! She had shown the picture to her husband and he made them for me! (and all she got from me were some silly ole matchbooks!) (The spindles you see behind the display are part of the table it is sitting on. I'll take another picture later that looks better so you can tell better what it looks like.)
