The band Doomonic was formed in Jundiaí-SP in the year 1999 with the intention of mixing Death Metal with traditional Heavy Metal, creating an aggressive and heavier style, but melodic at the same time.

The initial line-up was MARCELO RICARDO (Moriendi, Necrionomicon Beast, Daemocracy) on guitars, MÁRCIO GONÇALVES (Brainwash, Moriendi) on vocals, DOUGLAS CASTELUBER  (Brainwash) on guitars, ALEXANDRE  (Thrash of Gods) on bass and MÁRCIO TADEU SILVA (Moriendi, Necronomicon Beast, Folklord, Witchcraft) on drums. Few months later ALEXANDRE and DOUGLAS CASTELUBER were replaced by NODY MILAN (Nuclear Warhead) on guitars and FÁBIO BUENO (Nox Eterna) on bass.

This line-up last about one year, then MÁRCIO TADEU SILVA and MÁRCIO GONÇALVES left the band, being replaced respectively by JOÃO (Arkkham) and MARCELO VITA (Violent Death). The new members brought their influences to the band, contributing even more in the new compositions that at this time became more technical and harmonic. Beginning 2001, JOÃO left the band, due to musical differences.

MÁRCIO TADEU SILVA was recruited again for the record of the new demo titled “BENEATH THE DEBRIS OF A LOST WORLD”, released in 2001. This demo brought four compositions molded to the musical concept of that line-up. It had a very good reception in the international underground scene, being re-launched later in cassette with two live bonus tracks. This cassette version can still be found through some distributors in Europe, Japan and Latin America. After the release of the demo, several gigs were performed with this line-up.

In 2002, due to his commitment with other projects, MÁRCIO TADEU SILVA left the band. In his place came LUCK ARNOLD (Sextrash) that, after the end of his former band, had the opportunity to show all his technique and aggressiveness as drummer. His arrival brought a new musical direction, extremely heavy and aggressive. The combination was perfect and the work started immediately.

After few rehearsals, several songs were composed and in 2005, the second demo was recorded in the studio Happy Sound, in Jundiai. After the conclusion of the record, LUCK ARNOLD left the band for personal affairs, being recruited in his place, DIEGO PRADO (Daemocracy).

The demo “[EXODUS 21:24]” will be released in July 2007 through the band website. After the release, the band intends to make gigs to promote the new material.
