Football Manager 2005 is the new Football Management
Sim from Sports Interactive (creators of Champ man) and is set for release late 2004.
SI Games decided to break their publishing partnership with Eidos and have now joined
forces with SEGA. The game is now called Football Manager as Eidos have the rights to
the championship manager brand name. However, as we all know SI have always been the
brains behind the game and so be prepared for FM 2005 to break PC sales when it is
released as from the look of the screenshots it looks the best management SIM ever!
FM 2005 will contain the following features: -

- Cup summary news
- 2D clips from agents
- Coach reports on squads
- Job centre for non-playing positions
- Mutual Contract termination

- More than 140 playable senior divisions and in excess of 100 playable cup competitions.

- A database of more than 14,000 clubs, 3,000 of which can be managed.
- Data supplied by a network of more than 2,500 researchers from around the world.
- Updated 2D 'top-down' match engine.
