Since the early 90's Sports interactive's Championship Manager has been the most successful and some say the ONLY football management game worth buying! Now S.I. have split from publishing company Eidos in favour of old school giants SEGA and are set to release Football Manager. This game looks set to continue the champ legacy as S.I. have reatined all rights over the database, match engine you name it, ironically the only right they haven't been able to retain is the "Championship Manager" name.
