Argh! -- Every time I have something to type in here... I'm never at the computer.
Last weekend I went to Hollywood Video and rented the Irish movie Orphens. That was the most depressing movie I have ever watched! And who ever filmed it has the most morbid humor too... but I liked the morbid parts... heeeee! I honestly didn't know if I liked it because how rough it was, yet at the same time it had those bits and pieces where you couldn't help but crack a smile, if not giggle a little bit. Crazy...
I'm having a hard time deciding what to think of my new job. I like the work, and love my co-workers, but I hate having to work the midnight shift and only make six bucks an hour... that's barely enough to cover my rent... speaking of rent, I need to find another place to live... Friday and Saturday I worked from midnight until 8 A.M., then Sunday, after four hours of sleep, I had to go back to work at 4 P.M. So this entire week, what time I've had when I'm not at work is spent sleeping... But my boss was gracious to give me tomorrow and thursday off since I've worked 38 hours this week (thank goodness! More sleep!).
I can't wait to go back to Tallahassee and see my friends again...

What Continental Breakfast? -- Well I have a job now, but I'm not going to disclose anything because I don't want any of you internet freaks suddenly decide you want to drop in and see me. I'm armed with... nothing... shit.
I recieved an email from Swazigon and it made me realize how far behind I am with my artwork. I still don't know if I'm going to SCAD or not (hoping I will) and I don't have a scanner or photoshop... the two things I used the most when I was at home. Now that I have a job though I'm going to buy both when I can afford them, AND a PS2!! Can't wait to get some anime DVD's... hehe

The Weekend Already? -- Yes it is, and unfortuneately I'm broke as can be. Last night I was supposed to attend a performance with Holly and Robyn only to get lost in the historic district and never locate the building it was held in. Thus I went to the theater to see Amilie for the second time. Such a great movie, too bad there were only approximately 8 people in the entire theater.
Today I'm doing laundry and helping Holly move into the apartment downstairs. She was diegnosed with MS a couple years ago and cannot walk up and down the stairs like she used to. It make me feel really bad for her because previous to her diegnosesis (I know, I can't spell, I'm sorry) she played soccer for SCAD, and was just extremely active. Now she worries all the time about falling when she walks, and she's scared that she and her husband will never be able to have children (although she looks forward to adoption too.) She tries to stay optimistic but you can tell at times when her condition embarasses and worries her. I saw a painting that Robyn is working on for her painting final. It was an image of Holly's feet on the left side of the canvas, proped up while she rests, and to the right of the canvas is a pair of shoes flung onto the floor. The colors she used were dark, mostly composed of grays, blues, with little bits of yellow and greens. She said she wanted it to represent her experiance with family members and friends whom were perfectly fine before she left for her mission, and become very changed from disease after she arrived home.

Psychos and Even More Psychos -- Wowies... Savannah is sooooo strange! I finally got to see
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and I really don't understand why Savannahites make such a huge deal about it. The only thing that made it worth watching was Kevin Spacy and John Cusack (If I misspelled the names I don't give a fart!!).
I find it funny how a town with a prominant art school some how lacks a theater that plays independant films and undergound music (other than techno). I couldn't find a single place that had the movie Welcome To The Dollhouse and I'm sure I'm gonna have just as much trouble finding Happiness (by the same guy who did Welcome...). Also this place totally lacks a music scene. Savannah has a ton of clubs, but you don't really hear about many concerts here.... oh wait nevermind! I saw that Lil Romeo was coming here this month.... yippie...
Another thing I discovered is that my land lady is very very strange. I rent an attic from an older woman, and it's a very cozy spot. When I first moved here I noticed it had a funny musty smell so I burned some candles for a couple days, cooked some fragrant foods, and voila! The smell is gone! But when I exit the attic and walk downstairs to the outside door, the worst smell possible barges up into my nostrils. Then when I go to take out the trash the scent of cheap wine dispurses as soon as the trash can lid is up. Then here comes the fun part, the weekends. Every Friday night she has a few people over in the kitchen and has really bad latin music playing very very loudly. Now I find that kind odd cuz she should be the one complaining about the noise I make, but that's not the case here. Now just when I wondered what was really going on downstairs my friend ends up being neighbors with the people who lived here before me! (Scary huh?) Well he relays the scary things they told him, and now I REALLY am hoping I get a job soon so I can move out when the time comes... *sigh*
I finally got my hands on Photoshop! Guess what! It's a dang demo... poo... But now I need to build up the inititive to use it before my 30 day trial runs out!
