Latest Update 4/23/01

I am a recent Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Cincinnati. I developed this site to facilitate communication between myself and other psychologists with similar research interests and to help students in my courses through the use of the multitude of resources on the world wide web.

My research interests fall mainly within the domain of social psychology. Within social psychology, I study the areas of interpersonal conflict, self-concept, and gender issues. My current research focuses specifically on the influences individual's self-conceptions and gender on their use of different conflict resolution strategies and the effects of different conflict resolution strategies on interpersonal relationships and individual's self-conceptions. The following link will take you to more information about my research, and the Interpersonal Conflict Laboratory that I am developing. Take me to ICL.

My teaching interests, like my research interests range from general psychology and social psychology to specific sub-topics within social psychology. I am committed to using multiple teaching methods in order to engage and involve learners of all types within the classroom. The following link will direct you to a series of pages devoted to helping students in my psychology courses. Take me to the Psychological Learning page.
