And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit Acts 9: 17

And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied
Acts 19: 6

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily (being too quick to appoint leaders)
1 Timothy 5: 22

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.  Then having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away
Acts 13: 2 -  3

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership
1 Timothy 4: 14

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands
2 Timothy 1: 6

The laying on of hands is foundational it provides a solid base upon which to build.

In relation to laying hands on the sick it establishes within the person who is healed a foundation for believing that God wants them well.  Upon that foundation one can begin to believe God personally for healing and move beyond the need for the laying on of hands.  Beyond that, one can then move on to believe that Gods will for His people is for them to live in Divine Health to live not as the sick seeking healing, but rather as the healed resisting sickness in Jesus name!  By His stripes we are healed because by His stripes we were healed!
Isaiah 53: 5; 1 Peter 2: 24

In this we see the progression from GOOD to BETTER to BEST!

Regarding laying on of hands for the impartation of spiritual gifting or ordination it is again foundational as the equipping for the next stage of a persons life and ministry.  It is a stepping stone toward the fulfilment of the call of God and the Divine destiny that God has for each one of us.

And so doctrine is a doing word Jesus said, Why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say? Luke 6: 46

It is the doctrine that we do which prepares and equips us for the
C of the ABCs of the gospel.
Titus 2: 1 15  - The GLORIOUS HOPE!

C.  Resurrection of The Dead and Eternal Judgement

Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.  For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:  Death is swallowed up in victory.  O death, where is your sting?  O grave, where is your victory?  The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord  -
1 Corinthians 15: 51 -  58

But I do not want you to be ignorant brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.  For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.  And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And thus we shall always be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words  -
1 Thessalonians 4: 13 18

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgement was committed to them.  Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded (martyred) for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.  And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.  Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years  -
Revelation 20: 4 6

The
FIRST resurrection includes the resurrection of the dead saints of OT times, the dead saints of the church, the rapture of the living saints, and those who are martyred for their testimony during the Great Tribulation.
