Greg Short
1938-1999
Orchestrator for The Basket

Greg Short's role in the completion of the score for "The Basket" was to orchestrate The Game and Closing Credits sequences. Caron supplied him with an eight staff version of the material with suggestions for how this might be orchestrated.

Greg's job was to watch a video version of the movie and supply an orchestration that he felt most closely fit the action on the screen.

He also acted as an advisor
on the Opera sections of the score, checking for historical accuracy and   appropriate instrumentation (The opera was intended to sound as though it was written prior to 1918). For examples of Greg's orchestrations listen to The Game and Zusammen Werden Wir Fliegen.
