Here is a photo of our 1995 / 1996 UBC Intramural team when we played in Tier III and Tier II. Made entirely of old school Churchill boys, the sexy team members you see here are (L to R) Andy Woo, Wes Wong, Dave Hu, Me, Dom Jang, Collin Chan, Carlos Pereira, and Chris Li. After a one year hiatus and more experience, we are Back to Pack! For the first term, we are playing in Tier III, just to let our guys warm from not playing together for so long. But I argue that this is not where we belong so hopefully we'll be moving up next term. Everyone from the photo is back with the exception of Collin and Chris and hopefully we may have the addition of Wes Wong.
1998 UBC Intramurals - Back to Pack It was a great term of volleyball for us, as we ended up third place in our division and had a nine-to-one record, capturing the coveted bronze medal. Not too shabby for a team that hardly practiced! The first thing we noticed was how much we improved from second year and this was evident in our harder hits, stronger positioning, and overall consistency. Although we had hoped to have Wes Wong on the team, he had to work during our game times and couldn't come out except for once. So we had the core team of six come out almost every game which worked pretty well, plus we didn't have to sub. Here are some thumbnails of this year's photos.
