MARY LYNN'S CRAFTS AND THINGS
Hi, I'm Mary Lynn. I've been married to my junior high sweetheart for 30 years.
We have two sons, David 25 and Russ 22. I've lived in Colorado, California and Missouri. We
have two goofy dogs, Shawnee Feather Bear (part Chow and Golden Retriever), Tibby ( Pomeranian).
My cousin taught me to knit when I was about 10. My "Gram" taught me the crochet basics with
thread and a "lefty" friend taught me (a "rightie") more with yarn. I also dabble in plastic canvas and
counted and printed cross-stitch. See my"Double Wedding Ring" in Projects and Popcorn Afghans.
I am a member of Crochet Partners and Julie's Just Plain Fun Crochet Club. I was in FGX-white
and FGX-cotton2. It was really fun receiving "puffies" from all over the U.S.A, Canada, Australia and Argentina.
I'm a little bit Irish and a little bit Cherokee.
We have a lot named Cherokee Hill and love to fish in our paddle boat and sit on our deck and
watch all the critters, foxs, rabbits, squirrels and birds--from Cick-a-Dees to Wrens and Canada geese
and Blue herons on the lake.

Cookie

This is in my "Gram`s" handwriting. She had a couple "mini' rolling
pins for my two cousins Ross and Richard, and myself to roll out the
sugar cookies. I carried on the tradition with my two sons and now
Ross is continuing it with his three sons.
Gram usually made a long roll, wrapped it in wax paper to chill, then
sliced it, baked them, and put on pink icing. That is why I made a "pink"
plastic canvas frame for her recipe.
