| They look nice and were made for decorative purposes. They seem to be made of a styrofoam-wire skeleton with a fabric covering for the skin. The arms are posable, and some have wireframe fingers that can be articulated individually while others just have plastic hands. There's a plastic mesh and hoop under the dress and slip that can be gently bent and shaped. |

| I have a collection of over 200 boudoir dolls from the 1970's that had been in storage and were never sold - most are still sealed in plastic. About half of them are dolls made for the Bradley Doll company. The others might have been made for them as well, but don't have any labels or markings. I'm pretty sure these dolls were made in Korea. I've seen similar vintage dolls being auctioned under the Bradley or Artmark label. |
| The faces are handpainted and some also have painted fingernails. The large eyes are very distinctive with their swirls of color. The dresses, bonnets, and bows are made of various materials - cloth, lace, satin, etc. Some have beads, earrings, veils, bows, feathers, and other details. They seem to have four different sizes -10", 12", 16", and 21" tall, but most of mine are 12" and 16". I only have one each of the 10" and 21" sizes. |
