The Eyes in the Dorsal and Caudal Rifts, and Threshold Pitts
Shortly after the rifts exploded Hartisan the Red and Turgin Lambent had a meeting with other Dreamwrights that were left who supported their idea of the recent Dreamstrike Masters. The meeting took place in the Caudal rifts where the first explosion had taken place. There, Hartisan the Red proposed an idea to place a symbol on one of the walls. A symbol that not only would comfort the dreamers, but, also to place a warning at the same time. He went on to say that the Dreamer Wars should never be let happen again, and because of, the recent explosion, mares were pouring into the city. His proposal was simple yet would place a sense of security to all dreamers. His proposal was to set eyes, one on the wall in the Caudal rifts, and, one at the Dorsal rifts, and, one in Thresh pits, since Hartisan and Turgin were the leaders of the Dreamstrike Masters, the eyes would depict their eyes. The congregation agreed to the proposal, and, set forth to find a DreamSmith worthy of taking on such a task. Poantes of Vorsage, was selected for the job as he was the first DreamSmith to create a talisman. He started work immediately on the project, constructing one of Gold, and one of Blood. As u pass through the rifts, and into the depths of the Thresh pits, today you can still see the fine craftsmanship of the early DreamSmith and the symbols that Hartisan the Red, and Turgin Lambent had created to not only implicate that the Dreamwrights were always watching, but, in the same time were always guarding.
The Eyes in Gloom Peaks
The eyes on the arches as you enter Gloom peaks, is one that took me a long while of sitting and racking my brain. Learning and hearing the already theories of the eyes, I made my own from the ones that already exist. My theory is that, some time during the first part of the Nightmare wars, a Master Dreamwright and DreamSmith, one who had taken part in the Entropy Coalition, saw what he had helped do and therefore trying to regain his respect and trust in the dreamers, he had the arches made with the symbols of mare eyes on the base of the arches. Symbols that would depict that the mares were defeatable. Hoping this would restore his trust in the dreamers he held a grand opening of the arches. After he made his speech, and then moved on to the unveiling of the arches, it seemed everyone had started to place there trust back in this Master Dreamwright. Then, he pulled off the veil and to his surprise, screams of horror came from the crowd. Women ran with their children and men took up arms against the Dreamwright, because, of the memories that some had from the mares attacking unrelentlessly. The Dreamwright tried to explain his side, but, no one listened. As, a result of this matter, Gloom peaks was made so that only dreamers who knew well of the dream and had spent some time in the dream were allowed to enter. As for the Dreamwright? To this day no one knows his name, or his whereabouts and was never seen in the dream again.
