Late one romantic evening the Seneschal of DoL, Lasaimis and his wife Sha'Resa past elder of the house were spending some much needed time together. Upon delightful conversation, Sha'Resa smiled to her husband. Lasaimis was taken aback by the beauty of his wife and her simply perfect dazzling smile. He was breath taken and could not remove his gaze from her.
Later, Lasaimis thought to himself how intriguing this power she had over him was. He always knew his love was deep for her but he never realized how she could control him so with just a flash of her smile.
He spoke to his wife later about her power over him, she laughed lightly at her "adorable" husband and whispered to him the secret. Lasaimis ran with the idea she implanted within him accidentally and he began trying out combinations of different elements to put this spell into an art. After many attempts he succeeded.
Lasaimis had created the art we know today called Dazzle, the House art of DoL. When he dreamt that eve, he was overly excited and taught the power to the two Rulers of the House, Flushy and LovesLight, and instructed them to pass it on as they saw fit.
With respect for both Sha'resa and Lasaimis, LovesLight and Flushy decided that this art would be given to Guardians for their devotion and dedication, but was only to be taught by the Rulers of the House in order to preserve its romantic aire. They decided to use this art as an extra honor and grant it to initiates who have shown outstanding dedication to the house as well. So when an Initiate is granted this art, they would know that they were being acknowledged as an outstanding member and that the Ruler have noticed they good works they have been doing within the House.
This art has the ability to stagger and damage all those within the room who are not members of DoL. Join Party does not protect from this art, and thusly those in the House are not injured by it no matter if they are Joined to the evoker or not.
Once upon a time Lasaimis was dazzled by his wife's smile, and now today, Dreamers from all over can be dazzled by the glory of the ever-loving Light. |
