Isla and Jura are two cinnamon gerbils who live in a very large glass tank. They often pose for the camera, as you can see on the left! This is a pic of Isla, the fearless one, who will happily leap off anything put before her. |

Here is Jura having a snooze. Usually when asleep they hide away, but once in a while they decide to play the 'cute' card in the hope of scrounging extra food. |

Both of them sleeping, with Isla closest to the camera. I've had some comments saying I'm weird for taking pics of the gerbils, but they provide more interesting subject matter than the Chevette! At least they can move. |

Isla sharing some quality time with my flatmate Grum. This was taken during exam fortnight, so having the gerbils running around was very relaxing. Shortly after this pic was taken Isla heroically dived onto the floor from a great height. Twice. |

Isla doing a quite scarily accurate impression of an easter chick. Cheep. I think its the spindly legs and bulbous body that give the illusion, all she needs are a little pair of wings. Posing on my other flatmate Daves' shoulder. Isla loves being handled, while Jura runs a mile at the mere thought of being taken out. I think its because Isla secretly wants to hang-glide onto the floor at every opportunity. |

Finally a picture of Jura! She still wouldn't come out and play with her sister, I reckon she was in the huff about something. Usually quite shy, she didn't seem to mind posing for this picture - I think she even managed a smile. |

Once again Isla poses for the camera. The pic above was taken, Jura ran away and Isla instantly took her place, proving once again that Isla has a certain film star personality to her. Not sure how good she would be with a script, reckon it would mostly get eaten. |
