Got nothing to do? why not read or rent one of my favourite movies or books, so have a look and go out to your library/movie retal place and borrow it.
Shakespeare In Love Starring: Gywneth Paltrow/Joseph Fiennes
This movie is definetly for older viewers, but it's very sweet and very, very sad at the end and Gwyneth is plays Lady Viola superbly.
Jerry Maguire Starring: Tom Cruise/Renee Zellweger
I'm sure most people have watched this movie, but for those who haven't it's a funny, romantic movie with some great quotes, including the famous "show me the money", Tom Cruise and Renee Z are both excellent in this movie, Renee plays a sweet, innocent accountant, and Tom plays a handsome, rich, popular sport agent which fits him like a second skin
Emma Starring: Gwyneth Paltrow
I absoloutly love this movie, it's really sweet, and funny, and romantic, and sometimes sad, Gywneth convincingly plays Emma, who is trying to match make her new friend Harriet Smith, but comes to realise things about herself, if you think Jane Austen is boring (which I might agree with you some years ago), go check this movie out, it will probably change your mind.(though I wouldn't recommend reading the book first).
The Mummy Starring: Bredan Fraser/Rachel Weisz
This is the second horror movie that I actually enjoyed, This movie is really really cool, and I really loved the special effects, though the ending was a bit corny, and a good come back for Bredan Fraser after George of the Jungle, which I thought was very stupid, no offense to anyone who like it.
Scream Series Starring: Neve Campbell/Courtney Cox/David Arquette
This movie is not all that scary, but some scenes will still have you jumping out of your seat, all 3 movies are great.
Bring It On Starring: Kirsten Dunst/Eliza Dushku
This movie is a real laugh, and I love the complicated moves for cheerleading, even if you think that cheerleaders are a bunch of bimbos, go get this out if only to hear the cool cheers.
Cruel Intentions Starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar/Ryan Phillipe/Reese Witherspoon
This movie is so sweet, and Ryan Phillipe and Reese Witherspoon really does look great together, and Sarah Michelle Gellar acts really convincingly of the bad stepsister, this movie really rocks.
Crown/Court Duel Author:Sherwood Smith
This book I must've read about a million times, few books have kept me up all night finishing it, but that's what happened, it tells the story of Meliara, Coutess of Tlanth, fighting to get rid of the evil King Merindar, and this is where she meets the Marquis of Sheveraeth, who is a really important character in both books, this is a truly excellent book that has not received the attention it deserves.
Pride and Predjudice Author:Jane Austen
Although in my opinion not as good as Emma, it's still a great book, if you're reading Jane Austen for the first time, I recommend you start with this book.
