He smiled, though Ana was quite solemn. "I am going to fulfill a Prophecy. I am going to Bond a Summer dragon, or try." She nodded. "What do I do?" "Not much, luckily (for we all know you are quite adept to dodging work). You must prepare a home, then go to Silver Valley and apply. You must do all this soon; the sooner you try for an egg, the more likely you are to get it." She touched his cheek lightly, an indiscernable look in her eyes. She seemed to think better of it, and drew her hand back. "Are you willing?" Still thrown off, he faltered. "..Yes," he decided. "Yes."
It was only a few days later. Isaac and Analissa had spent a long time debating on where to raise the dragon. Analissa suggested a desert-ish place out in the Forest, but Isaac preferred his beach home. Finally he prevailed, and they got to work (despite Isaac's protests). First on the lists was a nest. "Look! Some lava-rock!" Analissa pointed out. They hollowed a good-sized chunk enough to fit an egg in, and lined it with soft beach grass. Next Isaac insisted they make a den for Carray, so they found a small cave in the rock, just the size of a basketball, and it too was lined with grasses among other things. A day later they had completed the home. Isaac was about to trek off to the portal that led to Silver Valley when Analissa stopped him. "There's one last thing," she said. Out of her satchel she pulled a red dragonball. When Isaac took it he could feel the magic in his fingertips. "Gaea has one too. They are supposed to help dragons focus their magic. Hopefully it will be of use."
"Thanks." He smiled at her. For some reason there were a lot of strange moments between them now. He looked up into her eyes, then quickly looked away again, embaressed. "It's a long journey to the portal, but you should go alone. Good luck." He nodded, then turned to head into the Forest. It was odd, and his thoughts kept wandering back to Analissa. But soon he was caught up in the fun of things, and he was running along laughing and truly excited about his own future. He wondered if that future really did include fulfilling a Prophecy. He could see no reason why Analissa would lie to him. Before he knew it, there was the portal before him, like a strange window suspended in nothingness. He stepped through and found himself on a dirt path, leading down into a valley. He strolled down at a leisurely pace, until he reached a small building. Inside, a draconic looking woman was at the front desk. "Hello, welcome to Silver Valley. How can I help you?" "Hi, I'm Isaac, of the Forest. I was wondering if there were any spots left for Clutch number 7?"
