How to set a fitness goal? Set your goals in reverse. That is pick a date of completion and work backward, writing down short-term goals as you go. "The goals then seem more like deadlines".

How long  do you have to wait before you see results? Could be two weeks, could be two months. If you are dedicated, they'll come.

This is what scientist use to think about brain cells. You can get a certain number when you are born, then do your best to keep from losing too many as you get older. But research over the past 30 years or so has found that new brain cells are generated throughout life, and that the brain grows in the areas where it's used the most.
