Hello! My name is Michelle Dodd, and I teach second grade at Weatherly Elementary School. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University in Alabama. I have been teaching in the Huntsville City School system for several years, and have also taught in different private school settings. I graduated as departmental honor of the year in education. I am currently working on my masters degree. I participate in several committees, workshops, and organizations. Some of which include my current committee of Team Leader and BBSST member.
I have a wonderful and supportive husband, Byron, with whom I love to spend my time. My lively and energetic dog, Libby, keeps me active. My wonderful students keep me fun loving! I love to see them everyday! My favorite hobby is reading and writing children's books. I enjoy traveling and exercising. I love being anywhere near the water. I just want to soak up the sun! It, along with my daily yoga, helps make me feel so tranquil, relaxed, and serene!
