Her daughter, Carolyn Parkhurst has written her first novel. Her book has been reviewed in People, Entertainment Weekly, Glamour, Parenting, Time, Marie Claire, USA Today, ABC View, and CBS Sunday Morning. It is a Book of the Month Club Main Selection. The book will be published in England as "Lorelei's Secret" next summer and is being featured as a book club selection there. It is being published in Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Holland,Greece,Japan and France. The film rights have already been sold.
Carolyn will be touring the United States to do readings from "The Dogs of Babel" and to sign books.
