| This experimental stone is an unknown type of slate. It has an unusual gold to tan coloring. Very difficult to see, but there is a fossil of an early fern in the upper left corner... a nice thing to leave with the stone I think. To help preserve the stone, instead of the usual lengthy polishing, I gave this several thin coats of varathane. |
