Hummus

Ingredients

  • 15 oz. Can of garbanzo beans

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • 4 tbsp tahini

  • 5 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tsp cumin

  • 4 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to flavor

 

  1. Drain garbanzo beans, reserving the liquid from the can

  2. Process garlic in food processor

  3. Blend garbanzo's to a smooth paste, adding garbanzo bean juice as necessary

  4. Add lemon juice and tahini; blend

  5. Add olive oil, cumin and paprika

  6. Season with salt and pepper

  7. Cover and chill

  8. Serve with warm pita bread
