• Students wishing to know more about The BioTrek Society are urged to attend an information session to take place during the 3rd week of September at Dunbarton H.S. (Room location and time to be determined; please check back in the near future).
• Interested and committed students wishing to join The BioTrek Society are asked to fill out the membership application form found here and return to Mr. Melegos' mailbox by Friday September 23.
• Interested students wishing to participate in the 17th Canadian International Youth Forum at the Ontario Science Centre on Saturday October 1st, are reminded to register by September 30th. Admission is free.
• Interested students wishing to participate in The Royal Canadian Institute Free Sunday Lectures at UofT, are reminded to check the lecture schedule found here. Registration is not required. The first lecture entitled "Nanotechnology" will be held on Sunday October 16.
• Interested biology teachers are reminded of a PD opportunity to take place during the STAO 2005 Conference on Saturday Nov 12 (10:30-11:30am) in Toronto. For more information about the workshop please refer to the abstract.
• Interested DDSB biology teachers are reminded of a 2.5 hour PD opportunity to take place during the DDSB/OSSTF 2006 Conference on February 17, 2006. For more information about the particular workshop please refer to the abstract.
