Dierich, referred to by the latinized Theodorus in the church records, owned house number 95 on Moorstrasse in Friesoythe. Theodorus, a widower, is listed with his son Joannes Hermannus, and the wife and son of Joannes in the 1749 Friesoythe parish census. There were some day-laborers (''Heuerleute'') renting space there, also.
