In this University, I am
in charge of "Poultry Farm advisory
service"; where on an overage 20 farmers per month will meet me to find
solutions for all their farm related problems.

Another 5 or 6 entrepreneurs will meet me every month to get an idea,
project report or blue print for starting a poultry/feed project.
|
|
Visiting farms, hatcheries, feed mills etc. periodically and giving
technical advises, feed formulations, disease diagnosis, vaccination programme
and medication.

|
Conducting training programmes and refresher courses to entrepreneurs,
farmers, field workers, farm supervisors, farm/hatchery/feed mill managers etc.
periodically.

|
Delivered several guest lectures on various topics, including shrimp feed
formulation, farm biosecusity, feed quality control, Japanese quail production,
poultry fast foods (further processing) etc.
|
|
Offering Poultry refresher courses to field veterinarians.
|
|
As member of the
Poultry Farmers' Welfare Association, I am suggesting instant remedial measures
for all problems and doubts raised by the farmers; both in person and by post |
